Dawn unmasks Vesta

The Dawn spacecraft slipped into orbit Saturday around Vesta, one of the largest unexplored objects in the solar system. Vesta is the second-most massive body in the main asteroid belt, and Dawn returned its first close-up image of the 300-mile-wide protoplanet on Sunday.
